Ankle boots with short skirts?

Does anyone wear ankle boots with short skirts on a regular basis? I was trying on a pair of ankle boots while wearing a short skirt, and DH commented that he liked the look. I would have never considered it b/c I think that my legs are too short to carry it off. How would you wear this look?

i'm short and i do this occasionally, but it's a sorta punk/cute look. i like it with patterned tights, but it certainly doesn't 'add height' visually, if that's what you're after. if your dh commented it on your look without any prompting from you, then i think you've carried it off just fine!

I'm sorry but I find ankle boots and short skirts T-A-C-K-Y!!!! but it always depends on the person. Some people can probably pull it off. I'd think if you were kinda short and petite it could be slightly cute with a few punk touches!

I think one would need really great legs in order to pull something like that off.

Yess do it! ankle boots with a mini skirt is totally on trend now!
as long as the ankle boots are fitted around the ankle and not too baggy is can look very chic! even try with black tights if you arent sure about the bare legs!
