Are Eye Patches Sexy?

This is the strangest trend ever. Can you imagine - wearing an eye patch as a fashion statement? When I was a little girl I had to wear and eye patch every day for hours to deal with a lazy eye. It sucked.

with only one eye open you have no peripheral vision to speak of, no perception of depth so it is hard to measure distances for practical reasons, like missing a corner or no knocking into a chair. No doubt, if the eye patches would have been fun or colorful or funny, it might have made it a little better for me.

Its seems however, that for a while now (where was I when all this was going down) eye patches are all the rage

This is not the only fashion shoot using eye patches as an accessory… I hope people won’t start marching down the streets in with these patches on under the impression that they are sexy.

It this is going to be a fashion trend, I can only compare it with feet binding that was traditionally done in China under the misconceived notion that woman are more attractive with smaller feet - when in fact - they were crippled and maimed for life.
