Just wondering what the best way to put on concealer is. I dab a few dots on and then I usually blend with a sponge, but it seems like the sponge absorbs the concealer more than it's blending. What am I doing wrong? Or would it be better if I used my finger or a concealer brush? Thanks.

I have a very very fine concealer brush that I purchased that I use to apply the concealer. I dab it on the concealer and then blend with the brush. This seems to work the best for me.

I use a medium flat Shu U. taklon brush for liquid concealors i.e. MAC Secret Concealor in the tube. I find with the brush I can even touch up after I've powdered over. For stick concealors I use my fingers to warm up the concealor and swiping on this thicker texture seems to make it cover more completely. It doesn't seem to work when I 'pat' it on, especially under the eyes. The concealor just clumps and looks uneven.
