In View of the ongoing Olympic games, and the complete engrossment of the world in the games regardless of politics, I thought I would bring some Beijing street fashion as seen by STYLITES IN BEIJING
I was really quite surprised at these photos and great styles. In my mind, I had the Chinese down for quite a conservative society, thinking that would reflect in their fashion…. Turns out I was completely wrong.

I love this Cute linen skirt Designed by the wearer who is starting her own brand.
The more I look at this picture the more I am convinced that this is not a skirt but Trousers….
I love the comfortable look this skirt has and combining with the grandpa tank top she looks completely cool an collected without trying to hard.

Sabrina, purchased her bag to show support for efforts of the Red Cross in Sichuan.
She is believes the Olympics is allowing foreigners to see that China is not as backward and uncool as they might have thought.
I love her look, and find the mismatching bag , that might shock some for the degree of missmatchness, a refreshing touch and a statement that adds to her overall coolness.

this is Laura a free lance journalist from Taiwan.
There is something very individual in the outfits of all three of these girls, which I find missing in the western world, which is kinda strange if you think of the difference in politics….
