cool vs warm tones

If I look better in bight colors such as red, fuscia and royal blue does this mean they are the cool tones? Also should I wear lipsticks in cool tones as well? How did you learn about colors, is there a good book I can find? Yours colorfully,

I am going to addendum what I just wrote. Cool can be anything from the sky can be anything from the bright white, to vibrant fushia, and even some reds (usually described at true red). Warm can be anything from parchment white to yellow green, and some of the warmer reds (burgundy/brownish reds, red tinged with copper type reds).

Another great website (I know it sounds strange but they actaully make there business with color so it does make sort of sense) is http://www.crayola.com. They have a section called color corner which is great for general information.

I am a visual communications student so I deal a lot with color's function and personality. This combined with my innate ability to go onto tangents of information is never a safe combination. That said color is an intregral part of fashion and too often gets ignored. I am glad I could be of assistance.
