I'm sure you'd get arrested if you wore anything of the sort in the USA. But are such outfits normal in Australia, Brazil or Europe?

Normal?! Hell no, not in Australia. I'm sure there are beaches where some people might wear this sort of thing, but you'd never catch me in a G-string bikini.

I'm in Canada and I know that where I live specifically you can wear whatever you want as long as you're wearing something. If you want you can legally walk around down town in a string bikini. As long as your genitals (and nipples for girls) are covered.
