How? and what have you found (products/fragrances) that you like?

I keep a mini container of Angel bath flakes in my lingerie drawer as a sachet - I don't like the perfume, but the bath flakes smell lovely. After two years I think they're losing their potency, though .

I accidentally washed and dried a vanilla lip balm with my laundry the other day (now some of my clothes have grease spots. Oops. But at least they're nice-smelling grease spots!), and when I opened the dryer, it smelled WONDERFUL. (I was kicking myself, but I still had time to swoon at the scent!) So that got me thinking about fragranced laundry washes. I know that Good Home Co. makes them, and I'm thinking of trying their Beach House one next summer, but I would want a more warm/wintery scent at the moment. I'm also interested to see if anyone makes a good verbena scented one (I know L'Occitane has one - anyone tried?).

Any suggestions? Or any other methods I haven't thought of? What do your clothes smell like?

Unscented detergent... unscented dryer sheet.

As close to neutrality as the scientists at Procter & Gamble can manage to acheive.

I don't put anything in drawers to scent my clothing because I wouldn't want anything to interfere with my fragrace of the day.

I'm in love with Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day laundry detergent. It comes in both lavender (which I use) and lemon verbena (I haven't used, but I also don't like the fragrance well enough). It's a little on the pricey side, so I don't use it for everything

I like to spritz a little of Avon's Clean Cotton on my sheets and towels, before I put them in the dryer. I just keep a spray bottle in my laundry room. Sometimes, in the winter months, I use the Delicious Dessert scent instead; it's a warm, sweet, almost-chocolatey fragrance.

What she said. Likewise about laundry detergent, fabric softener, deodorant: all unscented.
