Yesterday, I stopped at the MAC counter at Nordstrom, as I have been looking for a different lipstick. (I've been wearing Clinique Black Lily almost exclusively for a while.)

The first one that the MA suggested looked quite unusual in the tube

I lemminged 'O', and love it. I am a MAC NC25 in Studiotech, light brown/gold hair, hazel brown/green eyes. It's the lipstick I automatically reach for for special evenings. I sometimes wear it during the day- with a lighter hand, or just for going out - but it's my 'guaranteed to look great if I'm all dressed up' lipstick. Especially with a slick of MAC clear lipglass. I think this color is a must-have for warm toned skins, but I can see it looking great on cooler toned skins, too. Think I'll go put some on right now.

Sally Hansen's midnight mauve frost nail polish is the perfect match, IMO.

I have O. In fact I wore it today. I like it because it's smooth and doesn't chap my lips. The color is warm and neutral to me...even though it seems dark. I wear mine with a brownish pencil. It's a great color.

I love 'O'. It's one of those chameleon colors on me, depending on the liner I chose. I usually pair it up w/ Mahogany, Vino, or Burgandy.

I love 'O' and I am cool toned. Very multi-dimensional shade.

Would MAC 'O' be too loud on people with pale skin? Thanks

I'm a PPP with dark blonde hair and blue eyes, and I just got 'O' from gloss.com the other day. At first glance I thought, 'there's no way this is going to work on me!' but I've been pleasantly surprised! Even though it looks almost garish in the tube, it is a very flattering goldish rose upon application, although some might find it too bright or frosty for the office. I've found that if I put a thin layer of philosophy's 'kiss me' (clear) on my lips first, then sweep O over it, it is very sheer and pretty and definitely wearable to work!!
