Me too, I played club and got hurt (broken collar bone, dislocated shoulder, broken thumb... when I nearly trashed my left knee - pulled but not torn ligaments, I hung it up) But damn it was fun. The parties were the best. Our motto was 'Lose the game, win the party...'
Oh yeah, I was pretty bad on the field too but in my mind I was a star...
I agree - I'm concerned about Orvis. I actually buy fishing stuff at Orvis (two weeks ago I popped for a very nice Battenkill fly reel, a very small but robust large arbor reel for a 3 weight rod I built - my wife about died when she heard I spent $200 on it ... 'FOR A FISHING REEL?' Yup, isn't it cute...). Any way everytime I stop in at Orvis there seems to be more crap and less quality - true for both fishing goods or clothing. I really don't know how they think we'll pay the big money just for a name.
