Hi all,

I would be interested to hear of your opinions of and/or experience with Robert Craig haircolor.

I've Googled alt.fashion on this for past posts, and so far have found several positive feedbacks; also that Mr. Craig has been a contributor to af.

My hair is short, it is over 50% grey, and I have it tinted monthly to a shade very slightly darker than my natural (pre-grey) color. As short as my hair is, it does not seem like it would be difficult to tint it myself, thereby saving $780 a year (plus tips). RC haircolor sounds like the answer to my prayers

<<I've had wonderful success with the clear seal, and plan to try the colours ASAP. The nice thing is no smell, and incredibly easy to use.>>

The service is excellent, the delivery very fast. And I phoned, and got immediate answers to some questions I had..

But the only product I tried was the clear seal and unfortunately, my color seems to have begun fading faster than usual. I don't know if my new highlights have anything to do with the faster color loss, but I won't be using the product again.

However, the shampoo that comes with the kit is terrific!

I used the clear and I didn't notice any difference. It did seem like a great product. I loved the application...........just didn't notice my hair being any shiner.

I hope this doesn't sound like trying to get two votes since I'm one of the people who posted positive reviews in the past.

Definitely try the Robert Craig. In addition to what I posted before, one of the things I've noticed is that now that my gray is growing out (I'm overdue for a touchup, but just haven't had time), is how well the coverage is holding on my grey hairs. When I separate out a hair that is gray for the first inch or so, the body of the hair is the light chestnut that I colored it.

Overall, my color has lightened somewhat from the color I started with, but I'd been fooling w/ my hair color alot over the summer and I think that was the result of the temporary colors finally washing out. Barring the area of grow out, my hair is now *exactly* the color I was shooting for.
