OT: Which of your toys was stuck in the dock dispute?

#1 - New sneakers... where are you? Stuck in one of those slow boats from China?

#2 - I read Honda is coming to a grinding halt.

#3 - NUMMI (the Toyota/GM joint venture in Fremont, CA) hasn't been able to do Toyota Tacoma pickup trucks for several days now. They're only doing Corollas because they engaged in some pretty drastic measures to get parts (how much does it cost to air freight an automatic transmission from Japan?).

Not my toy, but that of a retired coworker. He has an airplane kit stuck at the dock. His plans are to build the plane with removable wings, then trailer it around behind his motor home to see the great U.S. from both the road and the air. His wife wants to see things from land, while he wants to see things from the air, so this is their compromise.

None of my toys...I collect Nancy Ann Dolls ..but from what I heard on the radio...Big Lots, Marshall's and the like should have alot of cool and wonderfully inexpensive things in very soon..so next week start checking your discount stores for even better bargains..
