I can't find it anywhere! I bought some for a friend, and now it's sold out in all the stores. Where have you AFers found it?

I found the two colors I have (Amber Ruby and Ruby Sapphire) at Target. I have gotten a million compliments on the Amber Ruby.

We've gotten it at Wal-Mart, Walgreens and Target.

Try CVS and Target. Also, if you have any of the Maybelline colors from last winter 2001 (Taupe to Amethyst, Ruby to Pink, etc.) some of the SH shades are very, very similar to those. I *am* contemplating the SH South Sea Pearl prism however since it doesn't duplicate any of my maybellines. If the SH does indeed look like a rainbow on as it does in the ad...must...have...it.

I have the 'Amber to Ruby' on my toes. I think that the rainbow effects are more striking in fluorescent lighting than in natural light or with standard indoor lighting. It's still nice without the rainbow effects, however.

Once upon a midnight dreary, Vicki pondered:

I have the south sea pearl, and it's *gorgeous*. It seems to flash mostly blue and green, but there's also pink and purple to it. Reminds me of an opal (my favorite stone). It's not quite a rainbow, but close! It also wears really well.

Beware if you get it

I haven't looked at mine under fluorescent light! I'll have to try that. I find that the polishes look different depending on the angle from which you look at them. The Amber Ruby is the most striking of the ones I have, because there are more colors in it and they are contrast-y so the effect is pretty obvious. It looks copper, olive, red, gold, and/or mauve, depending on the light and the angle. Garnet Lapis, which as I said in another post is a near-doppleganger for the now-disc. MAC Sinful Serpent, is quite pretty too, it flashes a couple shades of blue and purple and sometimes you see other colors in there depending on the light and, again, the angle. Ruby Sapphire looks either raspberry or purpley-blue, not a lot of variation in that one IMHO.

I don't have any of the light-colored ones but FWIW, the South Sea Pearl one is gorgeous in the bottle! It looks like an opal, more than pearl, to me, but it's pretty.

I've got the SH South Sea Pearl and it just doesn't have as much of the rainbow prism effect as the others.

LOL I can relate. I must sing the praises of this polish too. I have 'Purple Diamond' and think this stuff is the greatesst. I also had a hard time finding it. The one place that I have come across it where I live is an Eckerds drugstore by my house. Get this, I was ecstatic when I came across the stuff and all the prism nailpolishes had faulty upc codes and would not scan. The cashier was not going to sell it to me. I asked if she could just put the price in and she looked at me like I had antlers coming out of my head. Good grief. So she rang out my order EXCEPT for the polish. I asked if she could call a manager up to see if he would at least sell it to me. He did thankfully but yeesh. Aimee

Gah! You all are making me want to like these things more than I do! I have Amber Ruby on my fingers right now and, well, I'm underwhelmed. I mean it's nice, but it doesn't thrill me. It went on a bit streaky, and after two days, the finish is a little flat. I did get a compliment on it today, though.

There is a seller on eBay who I have purchased from several times. User name cassiecosmetics
They have so many different styles of Prisms, ranging from 1.99 to 9.99. So far I've brought about 8 or 9 different styles and I love them all, but Golden Tourmaline is my favorite.

Great info, Anna Thank you for that. I take it you are satisfied from the product then. "Rainbow in every bottle" isn't unfamiliar to you, right?
