I've had my tube of Mirenesse Secret Weapon mascara for about six weeks now. This morning, when I took the wand out of the tube, I noticed there was a large amount of goopy mascara on the brush. On further investigation, it appears that the little gasket thing that scrapes the excess mascara from the brush is gone

Are you sure the gasket hasn't been pushed up on the wand, maybe inside the cap? That's happened to me many times.
