The Beauty Of Imperfection

I love fashion.

I love the creativity of it, the scope it allows for self expression if interpreted correctly.

Most of all I love it when it brings out all the best in the human body.

I like it a little less when it is about being thinner than thin and Idolising unreal body’s while trashing real bodies.

I like it even less when it blinds us to the beauty at hand in search of the illusive ideal beauty.
BobbleBee did a post after my own heart on the beauty of scars.
she says

Surgery for scars that were produced in terrible accidents disfiguring ones face is one thing to support, of course. But I would like to question this nowadays’ panic on imperfect beauty. Why is that?

Aren’t scars beautiful? the most magnificent prove that we are alive?
They tell untold stories, and there’s nothing sexier than a man with a striking scar…

She not only says it - but proves it two with some great photos. Well worth the click to go and see.
