Over my slat-like body, shirts have a way of looking lumpy under knits, unless it's a heavy knit.

Vests are pretty much my signature piece of clothing for every fall/winter. Most that I have are button-down.

The best one I've found is a chunky knit vest that is slightly A-line and falls to mid-thigh. It is made my Sportmax, a division of Max Mara. They also have a cardigan version, again, quite loose, same A-line shape but this time with sleeves.
