Your favorite non-matt foundation for 40+ skin?

I have dry skin with oily t-zone. PLEASE include in your pic's 1) what color base it is (peach? yellow?) 2) if it settles in pores and 3) describe coverage

I second the MAC, plus you have the help of a qualified Makeup Artist at the counter. Nothing worse than thinking you're saving by trying drugstore stuff and having to return it or worse get stuck with it, by the time the experiments are done you could have gone to MAC and gotten it right the first time and know it can be returned/exchanged without an issue.

I have similar skin, but I'm only almost 35. I have about a hundred different foundations and there are 2 that I'm impressed with on my skin.

1) Revlon Skinlights, because it looks natural on me and with the little teeny bit of sparkly stuff, my lines are less obvious. I find it pretty moisturizing, but it doesn't go crazy in my t-zone. I use the Ivory and it's a good match, and I have yellow undertones. I don't see any of it settling into my pores and that's always a problem around my nose. This is fairly light coverage, but it works ok for me and I hate really sheer stuff.

2) Olay Total Effects foundation in Fair Honey, but I'm not recommending this because it's been discontinued and it doesn't wear as well in my t-zone as the skinlights.
